In order to prevent drug addiction, alcoholism, HIV/AIDS and introduction to sports among young people, a meeting was held with specialists of a special industry

KSU “Youth Resource Center” of the Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs of Shymkent, organized by the Department of Outreach, NEET and work with young families, a meeting was held at the Central Asian Innovation University with the participation of specialists in the special branch for the prevention of drug addiction, alcoholism and HIV/AIDS among young people.

🔹 ️The purpose of the meeting is HIV prevention/AIDS and drug addiction and introducing young people to sports, leading a healthy lifestyle.
The operative of the Department for Combating Drug Crime, police Captain Bauyrzhan Karbekov, psychiatrist-narcologist of the Mental Health Center at the Kurganbayeva Karlygash, coach of the School of Higher Sports Skills No. 3 of Shymkent Alibayev Yerali and Pankration athlete, world champion in the sport Kuanysh Timur, coach for the prevention and prevention of AIDS in the city of Shymkent, were invited to the meeting from the Shymkent Police Department. Nazira Zhurgenbayeva, a specialist of the wrestling center, took part in it.



📌 During the meeting, an employee of the AIDS Center spoke in detail about the issues of drug addiction prevention, HIV/AIDS among underage youth. In addition, industry experts provided the youth with comprehensive information on their areas, called for comprehensive development, avoiding bad habits, leading a healthy lifestyle, making the most of their free time. Today, the Central Asian Innovation University, organized by the Department of Internal Policy and Youth Affairs of the city of Shymkent, hosted a meeting of veterans with young people within the framework of the patriotic social project “Erlik umytylmaydy”.

The aim of the project is to increase the patriotic feelings of young people, increase the sense of patriotism and love for the Motherland by familiarizing brave veterans more closely with the formation of the continuity of generations. To cultivate high civil and moral abilities of the defender of the Fatherland.

This meeting was attended by veterans of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site – Bazarov Ishbolat Bazarov Ergeshovich, Shametov Nurlybek Kidiralievich, who told the youth about the tests conducted at the nuclear test site and its consequences, which had been kept secret for 40 years, and shared what they saw at that time.
