Regulations on filling out and issuing the European Diploma Supplement
The requirement to fill out the documents on education of the own sample of the Central Asian Innovation University
These requirements have been developed for the purpose of uniform application in the Central Asian Innovation University LLP (hereinafter – CAIU) procedures for the organization and issuance of educational documents of its own sample.
Documents on education of the CAIU’s own sample are developed and issued in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 27, 2021 approved by the Order of the Minister and the annex to the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 2020 No. 512 “Methodological recommendations for the organization of the issuance of own sample documents by organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education and Standard Rules activities of educational organizations of the appropriate level of education, approved by the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2018 No. 595 (with amendments and additions).
The types of education documents of their own sample are: a diploma of higher education with the award of a bachelor’s degree; a diploma of postgraduate education with the award of a master’s degree;
2.Organization of the issuance of educational documents of its own sample and registration of diplomas
2.1 The basis for the issuance of documents of its own sample on the award of bachelor’s and master’s degrees is the decision of the attestation commission.
2.2 Documents on education of their own sample are issued to graduates of CAIU on a free basis no later than thirty working days from the date of the relevant decision.
2.3 The forms of inserts, appendices to the documents on the formation of their own sample are purchased from the banknote factory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and printed using the graphic design CorelDRAW X7 and AIS Platonus
2.4 The forms of inserts, appendices to the documents on the formation of their own sample contain:
Central Asian Innovation University;
Surname, first name, patronymic (if any) of the graduate;
Code and name of the educational program (specialty);
Degree awarded (if any);
Date and number of the minutes of the meeting of the attestation commission on awarding the degree;
Form of study (full-time, part-time, full-time with the use of DOT);
Signature of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of CAIU;
Serial registration number;
Date and place (city) of issue;
CAIU seal;
Attaching a QR code.
2.5 In the forms of appendices to the documents on education of its own sample, the logo of the university – CAIU is placed.
2.6 The certificate for the master’s degree must comply with the state mandatory standard of postgraduate education.
2.7 The forms of inserts, appendices of documents on the formation of their own sample are printed on special paper with degrees of protection.
2.8 The series and serial number for each type of education document of its own sample is established by generating diploma numbers for organizations of higher and postgraduate education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2.9 The documents on the formation of their own sample have the following series:
diploma of higher education with the award of a bachelor’s degree – BD;
master’s degree – MD;
2.10 The forms of documents of their own sample are made using special protected materials of the banknote factory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2.11 The appendices to the documents on the education of their own in three languages are filled in as follows:
surname, first name, patronymic (if any) are indicated in full;
name of disciplines, number of academic credits – ECTS;
assessment (in letter equivalent, in points and traditional (in words));
in the line “Final certification”, the name, the number of ECTS academic credits and the score (in letter equivalent, in points and traditional (in words) are indicated. If a comprehensive exam is passed, then the name of the disciplines included in the comprehensive exam is indicated and one grade is given;
the line “Previous education document” indicates the name of the education document on the basis of which this person was enrolled in the CAIU, the document number and the year of its issuance. If the previous document on education was received abroad, its name is indicated in the language of instruction in the completed OVPO, as well as in translation into the state, Russian languages in which this document was issued;
in the line “Entered (a) in”, a four-digit number indicates the year of admission and the name of the university – “Central Asian Innovation University”, in case of transfer from another OVPO – the full name of another educational institution to which this person was admitted. Other OVPO, in which the graduate could also study, are not specified;
in the line “Completed (a) training in”, a four-digit number indicates the year of graduation and the name of the university – “Central Asian Innovation University”;
in the line “Total number of academic credits mastered – ECTS”, the number of credits is indicated in numbers;
in the line “Weighted average grade (GPA) of training” – the average score for the entire training period is indicated in figures;
in the line “Professional practice” – the name, the number of academic credits – ECTS and assessment (in letter equivalent, in points and traditional (in words) are indicated;
in the line “Number of credits of theoretical training” and “number of ECTS credits of theoretical training”, the number of credits of theoretical training is indicated in figures;
in the line “By the decision of the attestation commission”, the protocol number and date are indicated by digits;
the “Awarded (assigned)” line indicates the degree/qualification;
the line “Specialty and (or) educational program” indicates the code and name of the specialty and (or) educational program;
in the line “The level of compliance with the national qualification framework”, the level is indicated by numbers: for bachelor’s degree – 6, for master’s degree – 7.
