Educational and Cultural Trip to Almaty

Students of the Central Asian Innovation University took part in an organized educational and cultural trip to Almaty, arriving safely at their destination. After accommodation, dinner was arranged and students were given time to rest and adapt after the journey. On the first day, they visited one of the city’s most famous landmarks — Medeu — where they explored the natural beauty and tourism potential of the city. The day was informative and well organized. The second day began with an official meeting at SDU University. The students met with the Student Rector and learned about the university’s activities, student self-government system, and initiatives aimed at increasing youth engagement. During the meeting, issues of experience exchange and prospects for inter-university cooperation were discussed. The participants then visited the house-museum of the prominent statesman and public figure Dinmukhamed Akhmetuly Kunaev, where they gained valuable insights into his life and significant contribution to the country’s development. After the visit, lunch was organized for the students. In the afternoon, the group visited the Abilkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts, one of the largest cultural institutions in Kazakhstan in the field of fine arts. There, students explored collections of national and world art. The trip made a meaningful contribution to expanding the students’ historical and cultural outlook while strengthening academic ties and youth cooperation.
