October 14 – world standardization day
Today, the PSE “Kazakhstan Institute of standardization and Metrology” together with the Central Asian Innovation University and a branch in Shymkent and Turkestan region
On October 14, a special round table was held in honor of the world standardization day..
The Round Table was attended by heads and representatives of state bodies, representatives of the Department of the TRMC of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl regions and the city of Shymkent, representatives of the akimat of Shymkent.
The Round Table was opened with a welcoming speech by the director of the branch of RSE “Kazstandart” – Beiseev Saken Anuarbekovich and the head of the Department of the committee for technical regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Eskarayev Bastar Auelkhanovich.
The main theme of the Round Table was “World standardization day”, which is celebrated annually on October 14. The main task of this International Day is to draw the attention of the public to the importance of actions related to the creation of uniform standards.
At the end of the event, the organizers of the round table thanked the specialists who devoted their talents, knowledge and experience to Standardization, Metrology and certification, congratulated them on their professional holiday and awarded them with letters of thanks.
