Delegation of Our University Visited Poland to Strengthen International Cooperation

From April 20 to 24, 2026, a delegation of the university consisting of the Rector of the University, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor A.S. Azhidinov, and the First Vice-Rector, Candidate of Economic Sciences E.Z. Onlasynov, visited Poland on a working trip at the invitation of the Polish side.

During the visit, on April 20, 2026, the delegation visited the Staropolska Academy of Applied Sciences in the city of Kielce. During the negotiations with the administration of the university, issues of academic mobility of faculty members and students, joint scientific research, publication of collaborative scientific articles, and participation in the Erasmus program for the exchange of teachers and students were discussed. As a result of the negotiations, a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two universities was signed.

The Rector of the University, A.S. Azhidinov, awarded the DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA diplomas of the Central Asian Innovative University to the Rector of the Staropolska Academy of Applied Sciences, Professor Grzegorz Wilk-Jakubowski, Vice-Rectors Professor Jacek Wilk-Jakubowski, Radosław Sławomir Harabin, and Artur Marek Kuczyński.

On April 24, the delegation of our university took part in the International Methodological Forum entitled “Security Architecture. Social Frameworks for the Transformation and Mapping of Contemporary Threats,” held in the city of Wrocław. Scientists from Slovakia, Ukraine, Poland, and Kazakhstan participated in the international forum.

In addition, an agreement was signed with the Higher School of Vocational Education (Poland) on cooperation in the fields of science and education, as well as the development of academic mobility for faculty members and students. Rector A.S. Azhidinov awarded the DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA diploma of the Central Asian Innovative University to the Rector of the Higher School of Vocational Education, Mrs. Irena Malinowska.

The outcomes of the visit will contribute to the development of cooperation between our university and Polish universities and will be aimed at improving the quality of higher education specialist training.
