CAIU and Chongqing University Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation
From November 13 to 20, 2025, the Rector of the University, Azhidinov A.S., visited China at the official invitation of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (PRC).
On November 14, Azhidinov A.S. took part in the “Industry – Education – Science – Practice 2025” conference, organized by the Government of Chongqing. The conference was attended by universities and research institutes from China, Europe (Italy), and Asia (Malaysia, Kazakhstan). Following the results of the conference, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Government of Chongqing and the Central Asian Innovation University.
On November 20, the Rector of the University took part in the International Forum of Rectors of Chinese and Foreign Universities, organized by the administration of Chongqing University. The forum was attended by universities and research institutes from Europe (the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Latvia); Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan); as well as India, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia.
The forum aimed to promote constructive dialogue between Chinese and international higher education institutions. During the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications and the Central Asian Innovation University. The signing of the Memorandum represents an important contribution to the development of scientific, technological, and educational cooperation between the universities within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.
