Today, the Department of internal policy and Youth Affairs of Shymkent city held a meeting of veterans with young people within the framework of the patriotic social project “Erlik is not forgotten” at the nnovative University of Central Asia.
The purpose of the project: to increase the patriotic feelings of young people, to increase the sense of patriotism and love for the motherland through a closer acquaintance with brave veterans, forming the continuity of generations. Education of high civic and moral abilities as defenders of the Fatherland.
The meeting was attended by veterans of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site – Bazarov Ishbolat Ergeshovich, Shametov Nurlybek Kidiralievich, who told young people about the tests performed at the nuclear test site, which have been kept secret for 40 years, and shared what they saw at that time.
