International Scientific Conference Held at CAIU in Honor of Academician Mardan Saparbayev
The Central Asian Innovation University (CAIU) hosted an international scientific-practical conference titled “Current Issues in Society, Science, and Education,” dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, academician, and distinguished athlete and educator Mardan Baymyrzayevich Saparbayev.
The event was conducted in the Unconference format, allowing for open dialogue between speakers and participants, facilitating the exchange of ideas, and inspiring new scientific initiatives.
Participants included scholars, faculty, doctoral and master’s students, and youth from leading universities of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, South Korea, Turkey, and other countries.

- Dr. Elena Merkulova – Doctor of Economics, Professor, Russia
- Sevil Pirieva-Karaman – Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor, Ankara University, Turkey
- Mr. Lee Sang Hoon – Vice President of the Korean International Trade Association
- Mr. Seo Won Young – CEO of “BLE” Corporation, Korea
- Mr. Cho Hyun Young – Director of “BLE” Corporation, Korea
- Mr. Kim Kyun Ho – CEO of “e-tov” Company
- Distinguished academics from Kokand and Navoi State Universities (Uzbekistan)
Outcomes:
Guests toured CAIU’s scientific laboratories and academic facilities, familiarizing themselves with the university’s achievements in research and education. As a result of the conference, participants proposed concrete measures to strengthen international academic cooperation, develop joint projects, and expand experience-sharing among institutions.
