Seminar of Professor of the Bukhara branch of the Institute of Mathematics named after V. I. Romanovsky of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Professor D.K. Durdiev, representing the Bukhara branch of the V.I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a seminar at the Department of Engineering and Information Technology on November 7, 2024. The topic of his presentation was the problem of determining coefficients with initial, boundary and redefining conditions for diffusion equations with fractional time derivatives.
During the seminar, Professor Durdiev presented an analysis of the direct problem and the problem of finding a time-dependent reaction coefficient in the diffusion equation with a fractional time derivative. He considered the main mathematical approaches to the study of the local existence and uniqueness of the solution for the inverse problem. In addition, he presented results concerning the stability and continuous dependence of the solution on the initial data, using methods of the theory of fractional derivatives and integrals.
The seminar aroused the interest of the participants of the department, especially in the light of the relevance of the tasks of modeling thermal conductivity processes and their practical application in the field of engineering and information technology.
