Meeting of the faculty of the University with the coordinator of the National Office of Erasmus+ in Kazakhstan
On October 17, 2024, the faculty met with Laura Kalabaevna Paluanova, coordinator of the National Office of Erasmus+ in Kazakhstan.
Erasmus+ is the EU’s leading program in the field of education, vocational training, youth policy and sports, which has been operating for more than 35 years.
The following issues were discussed during the information session:
- International credit mobility;
- Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in MCM projects in the new period of the Erasmus+ program
- Increasing the potential of higher education (HEI);
- Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the projects of the PPVO in the new period of the Erasmus+ program;
- Implementation of joint Master’s programs – Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM);
- Jean Monnet projects, teaching and research in the field of EU studies.
General and problematic recommendations for universities to participate in projects, issues of cooperation with other universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and EU countries were also discussed. In general, the information session was held at a high level, there was an introductory material about the composition of the national team of experts on higher education reform (HERE).
