On March 25-26, 2024, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual problems of teaching German in Central Asia” began its work at the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology of the Uzbek State University of World Languages.
The conference was attended by about 50 professors and teachers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, 150 professors and teachers of higher educational institutions of Germany and Uzbekistan.
Tursunova T.J., Master’s degree, Senior lecturer at the Department of Languages and Literature, Central Asian Innovation University, Shymkent, took part in the conference with her report on the topic “The role of higher education in cooperation between the countries of Central Asia”.
The program discussed regional cooperation in German language teaching, topical issues of German philology, innovative and digital technologies in German language teaching, career-oriented German language teaching, intercultural communication and translation.
